For over-breathing

Breathing too fast? Let's slow it down.

First: you're okay, and this will pass. Hyperventilation means breathing out too much carbon dioxide, and the fix is a slower, gentler exhale.

The technique

Pursed-lip breathing

Breathing out through pursed lips slows everything down and helps rebalance your carbon dioxide.

If you often feel breathless or your symptoms don't ease, please check in with a doctor. This is general guidance, not medical advice.

  1. Breathe in gently through your nose for two seconds.
  2. Purse your lips like you're about to whistle.
  3. Breathe out slowly through pursed lips for four seconds.
  4. Keep the exhale longer than the inhale until your breath settles.

This is the app's visual guide. Breathe in as the rings open, out as they close. Four rounds take under a minute.

The problem

You know breathing helps. But which technique?

Too many techniques, no guidance

When you're in distress, the last thing you want is a long menu and no idea which option fits.

Most apps give one generic pattern

One-size-fits-all breathing ignores whether you're panicking, wired, or wide awake at 3am.

You need it to work in minutes

Not after a long intro, a sign-up form or a 20-minute meditation. Now.

How it works

Three steps to the right technique

01

Tell the app how you feel

Pick how you feel now and how you want to feel. It takes about five seconds.

02

Get your match

The app recommends exercises from its library of 32 for exactly that shift.

03

Follow the visualizer

Three animated rings guide every inhale and exhale, with audio cues and haptics. No counting.

32 exercises

One for every feeling

Six categories, each built around a specific need. These are real exercises from the app.

Panic

Tactical Exhale

Two counts in, six counts out. A long exhale tells your body the danger has passed.

Sleep

Energy

Breath of Fire

Fast, rhythmic exhales that wake you up without coffee.

Healing
